We offer FREE HIV, hepatitis C, syphilis, chlamydia & gonorrhea testing

  • Our HIV, hepatitis C, and syphilis tests are all rapid tests that provide results in 20 minutes.

  • All three tests are conducted with blood, so we do perform a blood draw to run the tests.

    • There is the option for a finger stick if there are concerns about blood draws

  • All three tests are highly accurate, with over 99% accuracy!

  • If you have any questions about the procedure, talk with your tester the day of your appointment or give us a call!

HIV, Hepatitis C, & Syphilis

  • We offer three-point chlamydia and gonorrhea testing which includes a urine sample, throat swab, and/or rectal swab.

    • We offer all three because chlamydia and gonorrhea can be localized in different areas, so its best to test the areas that may have been exposed.

  • Chlamydia and gonorrhea samples are sent to a lab and results take about a week to week and a half for results.

  • For ease of sample collection, we ask that clients stay hydrated and refrain from using the restroom an hour before the appointment.

Chlamydia & Gonorrhea

FREE At-Home Testing (temporarily unavailable)

  • Our Binx boxes are a free at home STI testing kit that offer 3-site testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea, syphilis (not rapid), and HIV (not rapid).

  • These kits are aimed at getting testing to people that identify as men and have sex with men, are trans, or gender fluid folks who were assigned male at birth.

  • Call us to find out how you can get tested in the comfort of your own home.

How long should I wait to get tested after having sex?

It depends. Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) have window periods—the time between contracting an STI and when a test can detect it.

Wait at least two weeks after unprotected sex to get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, & HIV. For the most accurate information, it can take up to 51 days to detect an infection with our HIV test.

Wait at least three weeks to get tested for syphilis. Know that the test we use can take up to three months to detect an infection.

Wait at least four weeks to get tested for hepatitis C. Know that the test we use can take up to six months to detect an infection.

If you are experiencing symptoms, we encourage you to make an appointment directly with El Paso County Public Health, your primary care provider, or your closest urgent care to get treatment more quickly.
