Cancellation Policy:
If you are more than 10 minutes late to a scheduled appointment, we do reserve the right to cancel the appointment. If you know that you will be delayed for any reason, please give us a call so that we can determine if we can still accommodate the testing session.

We offer testing sessions in English and Spanish, please select the appointment type in the language you prefer.

What to know before you go!

  • 1) Since our rapid HIV, hepatitis C, and syphilis tests are conducted with blood, we will be doing a blood draw. For the best result, we recommend you drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.

    2) If you are planning on giving a urine sample to check for chlamydia and gonorrhea, please refrain from using the restroom an hour before your appointment.

  • 1) We do not have designated parking at our facility. However, there is plenty of free street parking on S. 23rd St and W. Pikes Peak Ave behind our office.

    2) For the safety of our clients, the main door is locked. Once you arrive, please ring the doorbell and one of our staff will let you in. If no one answers, please give us a call as sometimes the doorbell cannot be heard.

    3) Once inside, we will have quick paper work to fill out before your appointment (Please note: if you schedule an appointment online, there will be less paperwork to fill out once you arrive for your appointment).
Additionally, all our testing is grant funded and FREE, so no payment or insurance will be collected.

    4) In our lobby, there is water and snacks that you are welcome to help yourself to.

  • 1) Our testing sessions last approximately 20-40 minutes depending on the tests you are getting done.

    2) If you are not comfortable with a blood draw, let your tester know and they will be able to talk about alternatives.

    3) Once the blood has been collected, your tester will start the HIV, hepatitis C, and syphilis tests and let you know about the different tests available for chlamydia and gonorrhea.

    4) Once all samples are collected, your tester will ask you some questions that we ask all our testing clients. All information shared during our testing sessions is confidential. The only thing that wouldn't be is if you talked about hurting yourself or someone else. If you have concerns about sharing information, be sure to talk to your tester.

    5) Once the tests have finished developing, your tester will share your results with you and talk to you about next steps.

    6) With your appointment finished, you are good to go. Feel free to help yourself to any condoms or lube on your way out!

  • 1) If you provided any samples that needed to be sent to the lab, those will be sent and processed in about a week to week and a half.

    2) Once your results are available, our staff will reach out to you regardless of positive or negative.

    3) We are unable to leave results over voicemail, but we will leave a voicemail informing you that your results are available.
If there is a reactive result, our staff will be sure to provide next steps to receive treatment.

    4) Our funding allows us to schedule clients once every three months, so be sure to check back after three months and schedule a test to be on top of your sexual health!
